Nippybot is proud to announce that its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Samson Adewole, has been named Business Person of the Year at the 2026 Tees Valley Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Awards.
The award was presented on Friday, 16 October 2026, during a prestigious ceremony at Digital Life, Teesside University, Middlesbrough, recognising individuals and organisations making meaningful contributions to business, opportunity and inclusion across the Tees Valley region.
The Business Person of the Year Award recognises entrepreneurial achievement alongside a commitment to creating opportunities for others and leading with inclusion.

Commenting on the recognition, Samson Adewole, Founder and CEO of Nippybot, said:
“This award is a meaningful milestone, not only for me personally but for the journey we are building at Nippybot.
We started with an ambition to rethink how everyday goods move, and we are working to turn that vision into real-world autonomous delivery solutions.
I am grateful to the Tees Valley EDI Awards for this recognition, to everyone supporting our journey, and to the people creating an environment where ambitious businesses can grow.
For us, this is just the beginning.”
As Nippybot continues developing its autonomous delivery technology and expanding commercial partnerships, this recognition reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship and building technology with real-world impact.
Nippybot’s long-term vision extends beyond individual delivery locations: to help shape the future of autonomous last-mile logistics across towns, cities and communities.
